Yiran Cao was born in Gansu, China. He obtained his M.Sc degree in Chemical and Energy Engineering in 2016 at Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg in Germany. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at Eindhoven University in the Micro Flow Chemistry & Synthetic Methodology group under the supervision of associate prof. Timothy Noël. He is now working on organic synthesis, machine learning and CFD simulation in flow electrochemistry.
