Lukasz Ciszewski obtained his B.Sc and M.Sc. from Warsaw University of Technology (Poland) in 2015 and 2016 respectively. During his bachelor and master studies he joined Dorota Gryko’s group at Institute of Organic Chemistry PAS, where he worked on photoredox catalyzed functionalization of aldehydes. After receiving a “Diamond Grant” form Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education in 2016 he started his Ph.D. studies at the Institute. His Ph.D. research is focused on photocatalyzed functionalization of nitrogen-containing heteroaromatic compounds. In 2019 he received a Polish academy of Sciences President’s scholarship for outstanding academic achievements. Currently Lukasz is visiting NRG for a three month internship to work on development of novel photocatalytic processes in flow.
