Guillaume Hopsort was born in Vierzon, France, in 1997, Guillaume Hopsort is a researcher with a strong specialization in chemical engineering. He completed his undergraduate studies at INP-ENSIACET (Toulouse, 2017–2020), where he gained practical experience through three research internships encompassing both academic (University of Auckland, NZ) and industrial settings (Laboratoires Servier, Laboratoires Pierre Fabre, FR). His initial research focused on developing electrochemical engineering methodologies for the valorization of urea into hydrogen via electro-oxidation, emphasizing reactor design, development, modeling, and optimization. This work, conducted at the Laboratoire de Génie Chimique in Toulouse, culminated with the completion of his Ph.D. from the University of Toulouse in October 2023. Guillaume expanded his expertise during a postdoctoral position at IFP Énergies Nouvelles in Lyon, where he worked on electrodialysis regeneration of amine solvents for CO2 capture (2023–2024). In December 2024, Guillaume joined the Noël Research Group at the University of Amsterdam as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on integrating electrochemical methodologies into autonomous synthesis platforms.
