VACANCIES
We are constantly seeking for creative, driven and self-motivated students with skills ranging from organic synthetic chemistry to chemical engineering. Opportunities for Ph.D. and postdoctoral positions will be posted on our website when they become available. However, if you are interested in joining our group, it is wise to proactively apply by sending your CV and application letter to Tim. Suitable candidates will be put on a waiting list and get the first choice when a position is available.
Ph.D.s are mostly hired on projects. However, some countries do have a national funding scheme which allows you to come to our lab, e.g. Chinese Scholarship Council for Chinese students.
Postdocs are encouraged to apply for personal stipends as this is very prestigious and helpful for your further career. Several options are:
- Marie Curie Foundations: http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/
- NWO for a VENI grant: http://www.nwo.nl/en/funding/our-funding-instruments/nwo/innovational-research-incentives-scheme/index.html
- Your own national funding sources.
M.Sc. and B.Sc. students can send an e-mail to Tim if they are interested in performing research in our group.
