Bente Reus was born in 2000 in Hoorn. She completed her Bachelor’s degree (cum laide) in Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her Bachelor’s thesis was carried out at the Noël Research group, working on the photomediated and selective C-4 alkylation of pyridines in flow. Bente is currently pursuing the ‘Molecular Science’ track of the Master Chemistry, also at the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. For her Master thesis Bente rejoined the Noël Research Group to work on high-throughput experimentation platform for the optimization of photocatalytic reactions in flow.
